What actually happens to the letter once I plant it?

The paper is embedded with real seeds and breaks down naturally in soil. Buried a couple of inches deep and kept damp, it decomposes while the seeds germinate — the letter becomes part of what grows.

Do I have to plant it right away?

No. Some people write and plant the same day. Others hold onto the letter for weeks before they're ready. There's no deadline on the ritual.

Can I switch between monthly and annual billing later?

Is this a replacement for therapy or grief counseling?
